Why are we too fast to forget the Lord who has brought us this far?
Why are we too fast to forget the Lord who has brought us this far? When you look back
at the children of Israel you'll begin to see a certain trace of them forgetting that it was the Lord who has written them out of slavery by his own mighty hands (Ex 13:3 Moses said to the people, “Remember this day, in which you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place. No leavened bread shall be eaten) . At every point and time when the Israelites forget the Lord or turn away from following him: he will always remind them that it is him who brought them out of Egypt for them to worship and serve him alone. Why is that after you you're brought out of bondage you want to forsake the comfort of the Lord and enter your own comfort zone? It is not necessary for the Lord/His Servants to remind you of how good he has been to us, this has to register in our hearts 💞 and we have to speak of the graciousness of the Lord daily and declare it to our generations yet unborn (Ex 16:6 And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the Lord hath brought you out from the land of Egypt:). Finding our own comfort zone after the Lord has brought us out of bondage is sin, we have to remain in the zone which the Lord has placed us when he took us from captivity. Lev 25:38 I [am] the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, [and] to be your God. Canaan is the land of promise, but why is there always a delay when we're heading to Canaan? The distance between Egypt and Canaan is the speed we engage in believing the God who has brought us out of Egypt, by the time we begin to doubt him there's a delay and that lengthens the years we have to take to reach and inhabit Canaan.
